He has thick, black hair that falls to his upper back, and blue-green eyes (some of his icons lie). He has the rough hands of someone who works with them a lot, but doesn't have the musculature of any kind of fighter.

Cobalt acts as a natural vacuum for souls/ambient life energy/whatever equivalents! In Cobalt's world souls=magical energy=life energy (loosely). He does this just by being near someone, though it's not terribly dramatic (as in, they would likely not notice it as unusual unless they had a finger on the pulse of their life energy); TOUCHING someone however can leave them significantly drained depending on duration. At the moment, because amnesia, Cobalt has no idea that this is a thing, so it's at least somewhat likely to happen.

He also doesn't know he doesn't have a soul. If your character can sense this, you are more than welcome to clue him in, though he'll probably disbelieve.

Main things I need:

1. Does your character have a soul/life energy/magic that is charged in a particular sort of way? Corrupted by evil? Full of good?

2. If your characters is feeling/experience something VERY STRONGLY!!! while touching/being fairly close to Cobalt--this can be a memory or an emotion; in both cases echoes of it tend to 'stick' to whatever energy they're leaking.

And of course ultimately it is up to the player how much they'll be affected either way!

Cobalt kind of acts like an energy succubus! The technical explanation is that because he lacks a soul, he sort of draws souls toward him. Where he comes from, souls are more liquid and also used for magic, so they are roughly analogous to life energy. More about this can be read here but the main thing is:

1. Directly touching Cobalt can result in anything from a little light-headedness to full-on passing out depending on duration/stamina/whatever is more fun to play out. Due to the power cap, just putting a hand on him probably wouldn't do much, but maintaining contact for more than like 10 minutes is not recommended.

IF YOU COULD comment here to let me know if your character would sense his lack of soul and/or the weird flow of energy around him.

soulutions). However, Copper modifies his appearance so they are not immediately recognizable as such (Copper is tanner, with died red hair cut differently). It's obvious once you get a good, long look at both of them, since they're the same height, have the same eye color and bone structure.

1. Anyone who has prolonged exposure (weeks and weeks) to Cobalt may start to feel fatigued/like they have less life energy magic whatever.

2. Directly touching Cobalt can result in anything from a little light-headedness to full-on passing out depending on duration/stamina/whatever is more fun to play out.

Copper can fix any imbalances manually or characters can naturally recover or eventually Cobalt will start "spilling" life energy back out just USE IT HOWEVER IT WOULD BE FUN FOR YOU TO DO. You can let me know here if your character will be affected but you don't have to.
